Eli Lemberg is the editor and publisher of Paddock Notes. He is based in Denver, Colorado, and founded Leetone Enterprises, which also publishes GoodCarBadCar.net, a long-running automotive sales-data site, and Per Million, which tracks what AI model access costs.

Eli studied business at San Jose State. His business-operations and sales career included selling Toyota and Scion cars, travel agency work, and operations, sales and compliance roles in the cannabis industry, before he started his own family of brands.

He is a lifelong gearhead: a deep Hot Wheels collection, R/C cars, sim racing, his own fast cars, and an interest in car cultures worldwide.

Leetone Enterprises is a data-native, AI-supercharged company overseen by a professional data scientist, which makes automotive and motorsport data and analysis its natural ground. On Paddock Notes, Eli sets the editorial policy, decides what the journal covers and how, reviews what it publishes every week, and can hold, correct or withdraw any piece. How the journal is made is set out on How this is made.
